    I am totally thread-stealing....but while we're on the subject....i know you have to book her SUPER early...my wedding is in 8 months...when should I call?

    From what I understand...yesterday lol I don't want to call her and bother her if she doesn't actually create dresses...sigh...I'm so e-mail dependant haha

    Wow...that woman does book fast! I just got off the phone with her my wedding's ore than a year away but she already has three dresses on her plate to make! WOAH! Hopefully she can squeeze me in, if not, where is Estee located? Angie's really close to me so it would be more convenient I think...fingers crossed

    ok maybe I'm dumb--but that's why I come on here--because you all seem to know everything!! Can someone tell me what a first fitting is?  When do you do that and why?  Can't I just get the dress altered like a month before the wedding and be done with it?

    If it helps at all, I called Angie last night, she scheduled my first fitting for March 17....my wedding is 8 months away.  She said that there would probably be two more fittings after the 3/17 one much closer to the wedding date.

    I just called Angie and booked an appointment for late January -- my wedding is in mid-April. She is very nice!

    I'm not having a dress made or anything--it's just simple alterations---like taking it up a bit and taking it in a bit.  How much does she charge?  Does anyone have a clue?  Or an email address for her?
