Reception venue with natural light/windows for 200

Hi,

I am looking for suggestions for a reception venue in Northern VA or DC for a seated dinner with dancing for 200 people. I want it to be indoor, but with lots of natural light and windows. Thoughts?

Pavilion of the Ronald Reagan Building!  That's our venue and it meets your criteria.

We are looking at the Sequoia in Georgetown, in fact I'm pretty sure that's where my reception will be held, the view is sooo gorgeous and we picked it for the reasons that you mentioned - indoors, but with a ton of windows. We are looking at 200 guests as well.

    A few other suggestions:
    - House of Sweden hosts really pretty events
    - Key Bridge Marriott has an awesome view/lots of windows and actually looks nicer on the inside than the outside.
    - Four Season's Georgetown - they have a nice patio at least that might work for a cocktail hour.
    - Rooftop Terrace at the Kennedy Center (I've never been, but my parents have and relayed that the view is nice but you probably need to use a lot of flowers/decorations to make the place look decent).

We had a lot of trouble bc of our guest count and budget, it's harder than one might think to find the right spot.

What about the Atrium at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Leesburg?  We had our engagement pictures taken in the botanical gardens and it's absolutely beautiful there!

Indigo Landing Restaurant in Alexandria.  That is where I am having mine and my count is 200.  The view is spectacular and it sits on the waterfront.

I also agree on the Pavilion at the Ronald Reagan building! We're having ours there on June 12th and it is an absolutely GORGEOUS venue!!
