Where to buy off the rack wedding dresses?

Hi everyone,
Need help with finding stores that offer dresses off the rack.  I am the MOH and friend is getting married and having a big reception overseas this spring, but is having a small wedding reception in DC with 50 friends iin mid-February.   Thus, she's not looking for a full-blown traditional wedding dress, but wants a dress that is white, modern/stylish, and still makes her look somewhat like a bride.    Any ideas on where we can go dress shopping???

She could also think about getting a bridesmaid dress in white/ivory? White Swan, Ellie's, Distinctive Designs, and I Do I Do can also all give you gowns immediately off-the-rack. Ellie's also has a Pinterest where you can preview a bunch of their off-the-rack dresses.

Also check out La Bella Bridal Boutique in Occoquan, VA.  Ellalyne (the owner) was really wonderful about finding dresses that would look good on us, and respecting our budget limitations.

Distinctive Designs is going out of business, so all of their gowns are $399, and they still had a great selection as of Saturday. And Ann Taylor ships dresses quickly - and they keep having 40% off sales.

There's a place in Rockville, MD, St. Anthony's Bridal where you can get any wedding dress for $150. Bridesmaid dresses/gowns are $30.

They are presently having a sale!  You might score a great gown, if you go.
There dresses are NEW not previously worn like you would find in a consignment shop.
And they will do alterations if you need any.  Staff is patient and very fashion-foward, so you will get the assistance you need..  Good luck to you.
