Ok so a little background information. My FSIL lives out of state and is one of my BMs. She was here at Christmas and I told her she would need to make sure she ordered her dress before January 31. I gave here the style number and color and found her a store in her area where she could go to order her dress. The Salon we ordered from told me the dress MUST be ordered by the end of Jan because that started their busy ordering season and that was the only way they could guarantee they could be here and altered by my July 21 wedding.
She told me no problem she would order with in the first two weeks after arriving home. On Jan 23 I sent her a text asking if she had ordered her dress. I got no response. On Jan 26 I called her got no answer and left her a message. She never called back. FI tried to call and got no answer. So he called my FMIL and asked her what was going on and why FSIL would not return calls. FMIL said she was busy with work but FSIL had posted things on facebook like that she was at a foot spa. FI told FMIL that if FSIL didn’t want to be in the wedding it was fine but if she did she had better order her dress by Jan 31 and let us know. She ordered the dress but never called to let us know. FMIL told us she had ordered and we have not talked to FSIL since Christmas.
So now here is my dilemma I need to contact her to let her know when my shower will be so she can plan to come if she would like. I don’t expect her to travel here but would like her to have the opportunity if she wants to come. I also need to know if she wants to get her hair and make-up done for the wedding so I can schedule appointments and I want to let her know what shoes I would like the BMs to wear for the wedding. I’m worried she won’t answer calls, texts, or emails. What do you guys suggest?
