I'm having a tough time with this...anyone else struggle if they should change their last name or not? pros? cons?

• Interesting; the original post is still gone, but I can see comments now.

FWIW, I'm not changing my last name.

TK is unreal these days ... very frustrating, no?
• I'm not either - have an established career where the Googling of my name comes in handy.
• I am totally changing my last name. I know it will be a pain, but we would like to have a family someday and I would like both of us to have the same last name as our kids. Also, I think it will just be easier as the marriage goes on

• I was previously married for nearly 20 years, and never changed my name. And I didn't change my name in my second marriage, either.
• No, too much a part of my identity. In fact, I haven't had a real nickname since middle school.. everyone has just called me by my last name since then. So what would happen if that suddenly wasn't my name anymore?!
• No, I will not be changing my name. Although, I am the first person I know in my age group who will not be changing names.
