Great engagement pic spots in DC

Hi ladies,

We are getting our engagement photos taken this Saturday morning and I'm looking for cute/creative ideas for spots. The plan right now is to do some in Georgetown and some down on the mall, and I'd like a mix of fun and more formal shots. Has anyone done this and do you have any tips to share on great spots? We're meeting with the photographer early (7:30am) to hopefully avoid crowds and have that great early morning light!

    Library of Congress?  There is also a park right in front of the White House that might be good.  We are taking ours in the city this Saturday morning too (assuming everything goes as planned and we don't have to reschedule for one reason or another like we have for the last four times).

    I'd do some by the georgetown waterfront and cute little side streets....and then the Nat. Archives Building...also lots of great places on the mall, such as the sculpture garden.

    We too ours near the tidal basin and then went down to Georgetown and took some more on a cute random street.
