So I'm down to two possible venues for a wedding next Fall. The Ronald Reagan Building Rotunda room for the reception and a church wedding at St. Patricks or the Newseum with an outdoor roof terrace ceremony. The Newseum is definitely more expensive but has those amazing views of DC. I was wondering if anyone who has been to weddings at these venues could offer up some perspective on their experiences, pros and cons. I think we have to decide early next week and I am really struggling! As far as timing, for RRB it's mid October and for Newseum it's early September right now. There was an option for end of October but I thought that might be too cold. I literally flip flop between the two daily! I have never been to a wedding at either so am relying heavily on pictures as well as any reviews I'm coming across. Both of them have great reviews so those haven't been as helpful.
