Reasonably priced hair & makeup recommendations (for an Asian bride)

Hi there,

I'm looking for recommendations for wedding hair & makeup that's reasonably priced ($350ish including trial, preferably less) without sacrificing quality. I don't apply makeup on a regular basis (or at all, really ;o) so I know I'll want a very natural look. I'm Korean-American and lack the eyelid crease, so I would prefer someone who has experience working with Asian women.

I wouldn't mind traveling to the salon if it isn't too too far away (church is in Silver Spring, home is in Gaithersburg, hotel where we might be getting ready is in Bethesda).

Thank you all in advance for being such a wonderful resource!

:o) js

Have you looked into Aisha from Picture Perfect Makeup?

She did an amazing job at my wedding last month and my bridal party was very multi-cultural. Aisha herself is asian and was able to create perfect/unique looks for all my girls.

I don't think she does hair, but maybe check with her to make sure?
    Hope that helps!!
her info is on her website:

I know Kimberly Steele will do $160 for hair and makeup trial and $220 for wedding day hair and makeup. Thats a total of $380, I know, a bit past your $350 budget but I thought worth considering.

Also Kelli Fink does $100 hair and makeup trial, and wedding day $100 for hair and $50 for makeup = $350.
