Looking for reasonably-priced photographer

I'm looking for a professional photographer in the Northern Virginia area.  Preferably they would have prior wedding experience and a photojournalistic style.  Our photographer budget is $1500 which I don't think is unreasonably low but I'm having difficulty finding a good photographer in this price range.  Any recommendations?

You might want to check out Kat Forder Photography.  Kat is an experienced and accomplished wedding photographer.  Having recently moved here from Canada, she is trying to rebuild her business here.  I know she has packages in your price range.
