Does anyone know anything about McLean Gardens Ballroom

I have been searching for reception spaces in the DC area and everything is just too over our budget.  I found a place called McLean Garden Ballroom which is in NW close to the National Cathedral- seems like a great deal.  Talked to the caterer that works out of the venue and sees reasonably priced considering the location.  Just wanted to know if anyone has been there or has any additional information about it that may be helpful.  Thanks!

    I've never been there so I'm afraid I cannot be helpful.  Have you taken a look at  past editions of Washingtonian Bride & Groom to see if anyone has had a wedding reception there?  They have "real wedding" articles as a regular feature.

    It is a great site, We looked at it, but went to Top of the Town instead, It was on the top of our list, But my mother liked the other place more for our crowd.

    It is really lovely! I went there for my senior prom, but since I wasn't in charge, I can't tell you how it was to work with the staff.
