Are you using a catering company?

I called a couple places because our reception location didn't have linens I liked, and they wouldn't rent things to me as an individual - they would only rent to a business, ie: catering company.

We are using Capital Party Rentals out in Chantilly.
So far they have everything we need and are competitively priced!

Swizzlestix- this is what we are trying to figure out now.  I have a caterer friend who offered to  provide all my food at cost.  BUT- catch is that I have to find all my linens, glasses, silverware, china etc from somewhere else- and they cannot clean it up at the end of the night.  If this is too much hassle and costs too much then we will go with a catering company instead

Villanosal- thank you for recommending them.  What exactly are you renting from them and will they pick it up at the end of the reception?
