Victorian Lilac wedding color

Is anyone using or have used this color ??
This is my main color, I love it but its hard to find items in this color to keep everything cohesive with it.  Anyone have tips for invitations, table numbers, decorating, bridesmaid dresses, etc.?

My bridesmaids wore david's bridal Lapis and Wisteria, and I based my wedding around those colors.    I used silver/gray as an accent color (silver-bordered placecards with purple numbers, gray overlays on the table so the purple flowers would really pop against them)  My invitations were white and ivory, so no color there.

Pick out the bridesmaid's dresses before any of the other things you mentioned.    But  it will be easier on you (and honestly, it will look better) if not everything matches perfectly.

I am using the deep eggplant purple for my wedding, in the flowers we are using Victorian Lilac roses, as well, in the flowers, and some silver accents in the table things as well.

I had Victorian Lilac for my main wedding color and accented with silver and a "beet" color.  My bridesmaids wore Alfred Angelo dresses in victorian Lilac.  They got their dresses at White Swan Bridal in Vienna, but there is a new Alfred Angelo store in Springfield near the mall that just opened a few months ago.  White Swan carries the entire line of bridesmaid dresses to try on, but the Alfred Angelo store might be better because they will also carry the color you want, too.

I made my own invitations and just picked papers at Paper Source in Reston that were close in matching and designed my own with the help of one of my bridesmaids.  I used the same colored papers for my table numbers, too.

My centerpieces were tall vases with floating candles in the top.  I found ribbon at Michaels to wrap around the center of the vases that matched the bridesmaid dresses EXACTLY.  Also found fabric at Hancock Fabrics in Manassas to make the ring bearer pillow out of that matched exactly, too.

Let me know if you want pics of the things I used as examples - I'll gladly send over pictures.  :o
