Hair/Makeup Artist Tip?

I have my trial with a hair/makeup artist coming up.  She is independent and will travel to my hotel on the day of the wedding.  Is it customary to still tip her 20% like you would at a salon or she considered the "owner"?  And if I do tip, do I tip 20% for both the trail and the main event?  What would you do?

I didn't tip when I went for the trial, mainly because I traveled an hour to get to her house and felt the trial fee was sufficient.  On the day of, I will tip something, as well as others in my party will be tipping the hair and makeup people.

I hadn't planned on tipping.  My person is owner and is charging me a travel fee on top of her normal fee.  I think that's more than enough.  If I do tip it probably won't be 20% more like 10%
