Anyone have suggestions for a cheap but decent videographer that can shoot at a hotel in DC? I'm hopeing to spend less then $1k.  Thanks!

    Try Making Memories Videography. Prices & Packages are below. I just booked her for my wedding in June, she was the cheapest and provide the most options for the money. Looks like the basic package would fit more into your budget. Good luck :)

    As an ameteur videographer, it is difficult to shoot in dark condition.  Make sure you double check more real samples under low light.

    I am a nester now, but wanted to share with you that my husband recently started a videography company.  Although weddings are not his main focus, He has done about 3 weddings so far and his prices are VERY reasonable.  If you are interested, please check out 2 wedding demos (different styles) at


    Basic packages are listed below, however packages can be adjusted upon request. 

    Shoot and Edit for 4 hour day - $650 (one camera)
    Shoot and Edit for a 8 hour day- $1500  (two cameras)
    Photo Montage can be included for an additional $75 (0-50 photos)
