Hi Ladies - The DC board seems a little slow lately, so I thought I'd post a poll. 

1) What is your favorite unique find for the wedding?

2) What are you giving as favors?

3) If you are doing out of town bags, what is your favorite item you plan to include?

4) Are you giving your groom a gift the day of, and if so what?

1) What is your favorite unique find for the wedding? Its a toss up between the flower wand I got for my flower girl, or the personalized hanger I plan to get for myself.

2) What are you giving as favors? Champagne glasses I got on sale at Macy's.  I love the idea of giving something they can use again so I am really excited about these - FI and I will be using the same ones instead of getting seperate toasting flutes.

3) If you are doing out of town bags, what is your favorite item you plan to include?  I want to give them a local feel, the ceremony and reception are in DC and I am trying to think of ideas that are DC related - but FI and I live in Maryland so I'm thinking either some old bay, or a bag of crab chips

4) Are you giving your groom a gift the day of, and if so what? I plan to give him a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue Label, he's a big Johnny Walker fan, I think I'm going to include a little note that says something along the lines of "your own something blue" - I am a dork, I know

2) What are you giving as favors? Little bags with M & M's and strawberry jam that FMIL and I are making

3) If you are doing out of town bags, what is your favorite item you plan to include? The little booklets I am making with directions and names of sight-seeing things

4) Are you giving your groom a gift the day of, and if so what? We have decided not to do gifts...our HM is our gift to eachother...lol

1) What is your favorite unique find for the wedding?
Our centerpieces. I found these three piece candle holders on long stems.

2) What are you giving as favors?
FI and I are huge chocolate fans so we're giving Hershey bars wrapped in our own personalized wrapper.

3) If you are doing out of town bags, what is your favorite item you plan to include?
I don't think I have a favorite item. Maybe the water bottles with our label on them?

4) Are you giving your groom a gift the day of, and if so what? We're "not exchaning gifts" BUT 4 years ago when we started dating we said how funny it would be if we got married bc our initials would be exactly the same and we could get hand towels. So i'm going to get him a hand towel with our monogram. Very sentimental.

1) What is your favorite unique find for the wedding?  I don't know about "find," but I love our venue (Strathmore Music Center) and that it is going to be a cocktail party instead of a sit-down dinner.

2) What are you giving as favors?  We're not doing favors...

3) If you are doing out of town bags, what is your favorite item you plan to include?  I am going to attempt the DIY water-bottle labels...should be cute!

4) Are you giving your groom a gift the day of, and if so what? Me?    We talked about not doing gifts, but I might steal an idea from another board and send a bottle of nice liquor down with a card as the guys get ready....

1) What is your favorite unique find for the wedding? So far I'd say my guestbook I made on Picaboo or my dress :-)

2) What are you giving as favors? We're giving donations to the Alzheimer Society (in honor or our grandmas) and to the ASPCA; we are also doing small boxes of M&Ms in our wedding colors at each placesetting

3) If you are doing out of town bags, what is your favorite item you plan to include? I'm going to try to do labels for the water bottles too

4) Are you giving your groom a gift the day of, and if so what? I'm going to be giving him a watch :-)

1) What is your favorite unique find for the wedding?
FI Grandfather created our "logo" and his Mother had 2 made out of glass for the cake table!

2) What are you giving as favors?
Frames and maybe something edible (like M&M's)

3) If you are doing out of town bags, what is your favorite item you plan to include?
Virginia Peanuts and we're going to try to do a bag of s'mores ingredients (anyone have ideas on how to do this?) because our venue has a bon fire each night.

4) Are you giving your groom a gift the day of, and if so what?
Haven't decided - I think not though.  Unless I can find something great!
