Lake House Inn Wedding Costs

Does anyone know a ballpark figure for the cost of a wedding of about 150 at the Lake House Inn in Perkasie, PA?  We found it online and love it, but don't want to get our hopes up or go look at it if it's super expensive...thanks!

I remember it being really expensive. Less expensive on a friday night or sunday- but still way out of my price range

I think the rental fee, including rooms for a Saturday peak season is around $8-10k and catering starts at $155 a head.  I have the info, you can PM me if you want.

I also went and looked at it, while it's very beautiful, it's very costly! PM me if you want info!

I agree.  Very pretty but $$$$$$$.  It's $10,000 just to rent.  Plus I know someone who went to a wedding there and they said it was very buggy by the water where the ceremony was.

PP are correct. I was between Lake House and another venue and decided on the other one because of the cost. They do have discounted rates based on day of the week and month. For example, our wedding is on a Sunday in July and the rate would have been reduced quite a bit. With your rental you also get about 10 rooms for everyone to stay over and breakfast lakeside in the morning. When we were considering Lake House, we would have had the overnight guests pay for their rooms, so we would have gotten at least a little bit of the rental money back.

It's really beautiful, and the owners are great- we sat down with them on 3 different occasions to try to find a way to make it work for us. It was close, but the venue we chose I liked just as much and it was a few thousand dollars less. Also, they book very quickly, so if you are considering them I would go ASAP.

PM me if you want more details or if you'd like info on other places I visited.

I just looked at this venue.  It's absolutely geourgeous and they really have thought of everything.  It is very expensive.  For about 135 people it's going to be in the $200-$250 per person.  Good luck!!!!

Did anyone find anything that was similar to the Lake House Inn in the searches but cheaper?  I just thought the whole package they advertise is really cool, but I also figure it is expensive. I am waiting to hear back from them.

  • My sister got married at the Lake House Inn in 2009, and now I am getting married at the Lake House Inn this year! Everyone there is super nice and accommodating. The rooms are just gorgeous. My bridal party can't wait for their mini vacation to start! I was reading all the posts and my advice to people is to go see it! You can sit down and enjoy to view while you read through their packet and discuss your options. This place is too good to pass up!

Was wondering your thoughts on the place and prices . It is on my list to visit too but with limited free time to go exploring want to eliminate what I need to.
  • We want to look at the Lake House Inn for a 2014 wedding but we're curious about the costs. If someone could PM me the pricing information I'd really appreciate it!
  • Hi! I'm interested in this venue as well.. Any luck on finding prices for 2014?

I was also very interested in this venue; their pictures are exactly what I envision for my 2014 wedding. I emailed the event planner, and for a Saturday it costs $9000 just to rent the place plus $175 a person on top of that. Guess I'll have to keep looking because that is way out of our budget! I'd love to know if there was a place similar but not as ridiculously expensive.
