Where to get bridesmaids dress shortened!

I need to get a bridesmaids dress shortened in the NoVa area.  I am fairly new here so I don't know many people to ask and have been reading several reviews of places with no idea where to go.  Any suggestions?

I need the dress back by July 14 at the latest.

    I am having my bridal gown alterations done at Fashion Dream in Arlington (near Courthouse Metro). It's a mom and pop shop, so they don't have a website, but you can look them up on Yelp. I'm not sure if they can accommodate that timeline, though, so you may want to call ASAP.

    She is very, very good and can specialize in quick turn around times

    bridal/bridesmaids alterations:  Toast and Strawberries, 31st & M Sts,NW,,tel 202 723-9007..been doing fine work for over 20 years ++
    we're open 10-7pm, daily & Sat. Need about a week to finishe job. Congrats !!
