Mt vernon wedding reception

Has anyone had their reception at Mt. Vernon Restaurant (Washington's Mansion in Mt. Vernon)?...If so, how did you decorate your tables and any other good ideas?

    I am getting married there next March. The supply all the dishes, linens, things like that, and they also have a hurricane lamp with a candle on each table in the center, so you don't really have to add anything, unless you want to. We aren't adding anything because it looks beautiful already.

    Im getting married there this fall. The only thing we are adding it rose petals to the tables around the hurricanes.

    I am getting married there in Sept 2011 and just met with our flower company last night.  We are renting an arch for the ceremony in the tent in the back and adding some chair posies along the aisle.  As someone else mentioned, they do provide a hurricane candle in the middle of the tables.  You can keep these on the tables if you would like or you can choose to remove them.  We are keeping them on the larger tables and putting a wreath of flowers around the base.  We are then going to use small arrangements on the other tables.  Also plan to put candles on the mantles and votives on the tables.
