You go meet with a florist and love them but do not love the price? I got a quote last night about 1k over what I would want to spend.... now I think I asked for slightly different stuff but...ugh. I really clicked with this florist! I might ask her to tweak it to get the price down lower. (She told me that I could do that.)  I just hope she can help me get the price lower without having me change a whole bunch of things.

Negotiate!  Tell her you love her stuff and want to work with her, but its just over your budget.  See what she can do.  If, at the end of the day, its still too high......remember what you liked and find a florist in your budget.

I agree with Cara.  Tell her your max budget and see what she can do to fit that.

Also see if you can offset any of the cost by purchasing items yourself... like the vases, candles, etc.  Stuff that you could get in bulk for cheap and just give to her to put it all together.

Ok thanks girls. I already found one thing that I can take off, the $200 isle runner... ha. I can get one at like walmart of something for lots less!! And the CPs are in cylinder vases so I can find out how much she is charging to rent them to me and go from there.
