Starting my dress search!!

So this weekend I went to a few dress shops.
Bridal Image Rockville based on another postera recommendation, I liked their selection.
Davids Bridal
And TLC Boutique in Frederick
I didn't find "The" dress, though I tried on a few that I liked. Is there any others stores you ladies would recommend?

Also am I being too picky? I mean I know what I like, just none of them had that wow factor.

ps. I went to the DB in springfield they were horrible.
I got my dress a chamille de vi at springfield mall. georgous dresses for 1/  the price and better craftmanship IMO.

Check out I Do I Do Bridal in Rockville. It's off of Shady Grove road, relaly more in Gaithersburg. they have great customer service and some gowns that you don't see anywhere else. plus, since they do consignment as well as new gowns you can get some AMAZING deals there.

I would check out these 2 shops:
1)  Bridal Images in rockville maryland=great selection, private dressing rooms and stellar service.

2) Priscilla of Boston=huge number of dresses to look at=good prices

3) I would buy new, if possilbe, just my 2 cents worth.  ITs your wedding day and the most IMPORTANT garment you will ever purchase.

I had a great experience at White Swan in Vienna- they have all the dresses displayed on mannequins- let you try on as many as you want- and they have about 100 dresses upstairs on racks that are last season and only about $500!

I cannot say enough good things about Hitched in Georgetown. I got my bridemaid dresses there and my wedding dress back hom in MN (no sales tax!). They are amazing to work with and have dealt with a pregnant bridesmaid, and custom ordered dresses. Truly a nightmare

I first tried my dress at Priscilla of Boston and there is a store in Tyson's.  I also went to White Swan in Vienna and they have a large selection of gowns as well. (went there for BM dresses but didn't purchase from there - their price was $100 more than the store we purchased them from in NJ).

I've also been to Hannelore's in Alexandria but their gowns are pricey (as are the P of B, but gorgeous). Also check out preownedweddingdresses dot com if you find a dress you love but is out of your price range.

You can find it there either new or pre-owned .. you will save a bundle (trust me - I saved 60% off a $4700 gown!)

I don't think you're being too picky at all.  Keep looking and trying on dresses.  You will find something that either makes you squeal or, as in my case, makes you sigh.  Have fun and good luck!

I got mine at The Bridal Boutique in Columbia, MD and found out today that one of my friends got hers there too. Jeannie, the lady who helped me was really nice and attentive.

I don't think you are being too picky. If you find your dress, you'll know. Good luck!
