First- I want to tell everyone about this company if you're interested in photojournalistic style- most of the photographers I've found have very high rates. George Street photo came across an email (i think wedding wire) and I think they are fairly new to DC- they have some very good deals. Their basic package rate looks great and is def. much lower than the others I've found.

I plan to meet with them once we select our venue but has anyone else in DC used them? Their reviews are great but they seem to be in other cities where the company is more established.

Any other photographers that specialize in this style in the DMV for under $1500?

 We are using Ben Michalski , he has done several people in our office, So it was a no-brainer for us, plus offered discounts for "Military" We aren't paying no more than 1300.00 give him a call at 410-720-9767.

Plus it was important to us to get all copy rights.Hope this helps.

You might want to check out Kat Forder, at http://www.katforderphotography.ca/. Kat recently arrived in the DC area after having had a successful wedding photography business in Canada for years. Her rates are comparatively low as she tries to rebuild her business in this country.  Her photography packages range from $750 to $2,900, depending on your needs.
