Where to buy alcohol in the DC area

I'm getting married on Aug 3rd in Maryland and we are providing our own alcohol for our bar. I grew-up in the DC area and am moving back this summer but I haven't live in the area sense high school.

We are planning to serve:
- Guinness, Smithwicks, and harp (possibly magners or angry orchard) from kegs
- A red wine and a white wine to go with BBQ food
- Whiskey (I would love to serve bushmills or another Irish whiskey), a gold tequila, and triple sec to go in our signature drinks
- As well as some vodka, gin, rum
- Oh and champagne (or a sparkling wine)... just enough for a toast for 150 people

Does anyone have any suggestions for where to buy this?

If you are getting married in Maryland, you probably have to buy the liquor in Maryland.  Transporting over a gallon of liquor into Maryland is illegal unless you make arrangements to pay the liquor tax.  While they might not put a priority on enforcement if you were just buying from your home, you really don't want to take the chance when buying enough for a wedding.

Liquor laws also vary by county in Maryland.  For example, in Montgomery County, only stores owned by the Department of Liquor Control can sell liquor.  Even beer and wine can't be sold in grocery stores in Maryland.

In Maryland (Silver Spring, actually) there is a great county liquor store (as 2dBride said, even grocery stores can't carry liquor in at least Montgomery and PG County) that has a huge selection and very reasonable prices. It's at 8715 Colesville Road, and they have a parking lot out back so you can load up a car without having to cart it around.
