Help! $50-$75 per person reception in DC?

My finace and I are getting married in September and are currently working on our reception. Our families don't have much money and we are trying to keep costs down to save for housing costs (anyone here in DC KNOWS what I'm talking about) We are trying to find a venue that will be in the range of $50 to $75 per person and still be beautiful. Right now everything we see is $100+ or alreadfy reserved! We want to stay close to our ceremony church in Falls Church, VA too, so we are looking for Falls Church or Arlington area. Please help so we can move onto the next thing on our list!!!

If you haven't already, you may want to ask someone who works at your church (pastor, secretary).  They will likely know some nearby, reasonably priced places.  Is there a small, neighborhood restaurant that you and FI enjoy?  They might have a room you can use for a reception.  Let them know your budget and see what they can do.

    Good luck!

I would look at the Fairfax Parks and Rec. They have a lot of sites that will allow you to stay well under that budget price.

@ LoveMuffins: I never thought of Maggianos b/c I didn't know they have a ballroom but thats an awesome suggestion. They are about $70 which really isn't bad because you get SO much food, but they were already booked for my reception time :( thanks for the Suggestion!

Try the Ft Myer Officers' Club in Arlington.  I don't think you need to be in the military to use it, and they have a variety of packages in your price range.
