Hi all!

I’m looking for advice to find a wedding reception venue in Arlington, Alexandria or nearby. We’ll have roughly 150-160 people for dinner including 15 or so children.

I was thinking hotel but they are fairly pricy. Our budget for the venue is roughly $15k for food, open bar, and the space. Any good ideas or positive experiences? Would appreciate your thoughts!

I don't know of any specifics, but I found my space when I started googling "Banquet Halls" and "event spaces" instead of "wedding reception venues". The less well-known and less expensive places start showing up when you keep the word "wedding" out of it GL!

Have you tried the Arlington Gallery of Art?

Top of the Town might be a good choice especially if you want stunning views of the Capitol area.  You might be able to have it there in that budget.  Good luck!  P.S.  I am a successful full-time videographer in the DC area and after hundreds of events; I feel I am qualified to offer this advice.

We actually wanted to use the Arlington Gallery of Art - they were not available on our day

Torpedo Art Factory in Old Town is a really cool venue!

We are looking at the Hilton in Arlington - they are very reasonably priced - and a hotel.
