Alterations?

Ok, I know this has been posted time and time again, but I thought I was just going to take my dress to the Alfred Angelo store I bought it at.  In thinking this through, I decided that my weekends are far too precious right now to spend one in PA just to get my dress altered.

Does anyone have any recs for a reputable seamstress that I could have alter my dress?  I know there's a popular name that floats around the boards, but with my wedding less than 3 months out, I'm sure she's booked.

Thanks - I was going to e-mail her, but just found out that an Alfred Angelo store is opening in Springfield by the end of the month.  I'm just going to take it there.  I appreciate the advice, though!

I would price them both, if I were you.  Seamstresses in the retail store often are way more money than an independent seamstress, and they aren't necessarily any better.  Often, they're worse, and if the place is just opening they won't have any alterations reviews yet.  Angie is well known to this board and very good, however.

AA dresses are not altered in the individual stores - they are sent to the manufacturer to alter.  At least, that's what the store in PA where I bought my dress told me.
