Manassas battlefield park

Has anyone taken wedding or engagement pictures here before? I'm looking at taking pictures there the day of but they say I need a permit since it's a National park. Has anyone taken pictures there without a permit? Because I really don't want to pay for one.  Thanks!

    I live right next to the park, and shooting without a permit shouldnt be that big of an issue.  I usually go for walks there once or twice a week and depending how far you venture into the woods, you can find some amazing spots.  One word of advice WATCH OUT FOR TICKS!  My FH and I went and had a picnik by this little pond we found and spent about an hour searching eachother after.
