Reasonably priced bridal updo in NoVA?

I'm doing my legal wedding in DC, but it's become a bigger deal than I had planned, because no one is really going to my DW.  We've decided I should be in the real dress, and obviously that means I need to have my hair done.  I don't want to spend a ton of money on it, anyone know a good hairdresser in the Reston area or within 15 miles that will do an updo and not charge me a ton of cash?

Wow Kelli Fink is really affordable! Is she good? Where did you hear about her? Do you know anyone who can vouch for her?

Hey sorry for being such a fanatic, but I was so excited about that Kelly Fink character I emailed her right away - it turns out that she charges 150 extra for the trial run, 250 extra if the wedding is on a holiday, and there is a 250 deposit that is subtracted from the total bill for the whole bridal party on the day of. Just an FYI!!!

Hmm, I don't think that's going to work for me, it's just me, no bridesmaids.  I need a place to go that won't charge too much and is willing to do hair for just one person.  :-/

I know! I was thinking about getting married on New Year's Eve and ALL the vendors I have talked to charge extra for a holiday wedding. We decided to go with another date. I am so excited about using Kelli Fink. I just had my trial with her and Lisa. I could not believe what she did with my hair! I even asked for a reference from another bride and I was flooded with emails from super happy brides! I felt so pretty. She is totally hilarious and I cant wait to have her there!!

I am getting my hair done by Dell in the Aveda salon in Pentagon row.  He did a fantastic job on my trial.  $100 +tip (but also $100 for trial)...  It would be close to the city.  (Note - I'm going to the salon the day of).

I did know there was a seperate charge for the trail run - this is the case with most places.  I also was aware of the deposit but since I am paying for my hair and makeup as well as my moms, I just had the deposit go towards our services and she said that the bridal party could pay their own on the day of.  I kind of liked that because I have already paid for my hair and makeup so I wont have to worry about it that day.  I'll just have to pay the trial when we do it.  (I have had my hair done by Kelli several times in the past so I booked her right away and I'll do my  trial once my veil comes in.

Graham Webb in Rosslyn does updos for about 25-30 dollars.  It is a school but I have never been disappointed the few times I have been there and will be letting them do my hair.
