Ellie's Bridal in Old Town, Alexandria - The Worst Customer Service

Saturday, my bridesmaids and I went to Ellie's Bridal in search of bridesmaids dresses. I made an appt. However,  when we arrived we were treated as if I had never scheduled an appointment. We were not greeted or assisted by anyone. I had to search for an sales associated only to be informed that I needed to wait until they finished measuring a bride. Why does it take 3 people to measure one person? What's the point of making an appointment if I was not going to be assisted in anyway? Needless to say, we left Ellies.  Stay far away from Ellie's.

Also, if you have hips and/or booty, the biggest size they have is a 10.

I am sorry you had such awful customer service there.
Here are a few salons that we went to that had excellent and not so excellent service:  Check it out if you want to.

White Swan in VA:  nice assistance there, pretty gowns too.  Recommend.
Macys in VA:  A little short tempered with our group but large selection of gowns

Love Coutre in MD:  small place, very pushy & kept asking when are you going to buy your dress?  Do not recommend

I Do I Do in MD:  large selection, gave nice advice & patient. Recommend

I am sorry you had a bad experience.

IF you happen to go back (not that I blame you if you didn't), ask for Toni.  She is the one who helped me pick out my wedding dress and she was simply amazing.  I was there for about 1.5 hours and found my dress. 

You are not the first person to complain about their customer service but Toni isthe only reason that I go back there.

I got my dress from I Do, I Do... LOVED them.

Got mine from Love Couture and had a great experience there. Got close to buying one from Toni at Ellie's though.....she was wonderful!
