Meridian House?

Is anyone getting married or was married at the Meridian House? I'm having a hard time finding a caterer less than 14k on the approved vendors list.

    Of course this will vary depending on number of people you're having (I'm 100 max) but I found R&R and Festive Foods to have very competetive prices. Well Dunn wasnt too bad either. The rest- I know- insane. Meridian House is definitely one of the nicest venues in DC though.

    If you haven't contracted with them yet- the best caterers I have found are Washington Parties and Fine Gastronomy.

    No most likely not- we havent decided on a venue yet. I think Meridian will be out of budget though (based on just the rental fee) and if we are able to rent in that range- we would do the Halcyon House (closer to our ceremony site). Dumbarton House and Decatur House are 2 others that are really nice also (and have indoor and outdoor space in the city).
