Just FYI, I had a trial scheduled on Saturday.  We confirmed and exchanged many emails last week.  She never showed, and despite many attempts to call her, I have still not heard from her.  Needless to say, I will not be booking her for my wedding.

I was MoH recently at a wedding where Paula was the hair and makeup artist.  While she was about 45 minutes late, we had an overwhelmingly positive experience with her.  Despite the delay and the fact that two of the four bridesmaids changed their mind the morning of the wedding to have both hair and makeup done (originally they had only been scheduled for hair), she and her assistant finished and had us looking fantastic a mere 10 minutes later than expected, and none of us felt as though they were rushing or that she was giving us shortshrift.   She and her assistant were super friendly and personable; Paula even gave the bride the lipliner she used for touch ups.  She also only charged $100 for the bride and $85 for bridesmaids for both hair and makeup.  As far as I know, the bride's trial run also went well.  I would definitely use her for my own wedding.
