DC/VA/MD reception venue that allows any caterer

Hello!

Any ideas for a reception venue that doesn't require you to use their preferred caterer list? I know Carnegie, Whittemore House and St. Francis are all flexible but just trying to see what our other options might be in DC (or close in VA/MD- our ceremony is in DC so not too far).

How many guests are you going to have?

We are planning for about 100- our guests list is a little over so could be as little as 80 or as many as 110.

Fairfax county parks & rec dept rents out sites that allow any caterer. The have a wide variety of venus as well.  My FI and I have the Stone Mansion booked for our wedding.

I was going to say the same thing with Montgomery county parks.  Some of their venues may be perfect for you size wedding.

Rockwood Manor in Potomac allows you to use any caterer, and is fairly close in.

Thanks for the help!- I am definitely thinking about Rockwood- and really cool that you can rent it for 2 days with overnight accommodations for a lower price than many of the area venues for just the fee alone!
