Christ the King Catholic church-Atlanta

Hello everyone! I'm new here and planning a wedding for December of this year. Anyway, I wanted to know if anyone else has had a wedding at Christ the King catholic church? and how easy or not it was to navigate.

I do not have a parish, I was raised Catholic but do not really attend church. My father is really pushing the whole Catholic wedding so I was looking through it and it appeared as long as you pay the fees it should be good, but I really wanted to know others experiences.

Thank you very much!!

I opted to not have a Catholic wedding after seeing the fees, which would have been over half of my budget AND i go to church there.  The coordinator was very nice but just remember you have to "tip" the priest and altar boys, pay for the organist, etc. so it's more then just the quote. But it ends up being one of the least expensive Catholic churches in the area.
  • There are several other churches in the marietta/ atlanta are that are cheaper. But you need to be a member with enough time for the preparation classes.

We're getting married at St. Paul of the cross in midtown- $250.
There is also St. thomas the apostle in smyrna, they were asking $125 and you didnt have to be a member
