Hello Knotties, I visited The Piedmont Room yesterday and FELL in love. I just want to know if anyone has any Likes, Dislikes, Stories, Suggestions about this place... Thankss

    There are only 2 bad things about the Piedmont Room.EVERYTHING else is completely fantastic.1.  If there is another event (which often happens) that is below you in the Garden Tent, there will be an issue with parking and with noise.  I was at a wedding and during the toasts of the reception, you could hear the beat of the music coming from below you, however if there's no "quiet" times during your reception, you'll never know.Parking can be sticky no matter what, do to the limited space.2.  The bathrooms are insanely small and a pain for guests and the bride.  3rd possible con, if you have a large guest count, cocktail hour can be crowded.  Everything else, service, food, drink, space, beauty, view is PERFECT!

    I'm getting married in the Piedmont room in November. So far I am satisfied. The bathroom is a bummer though. The event planner Ashly is awesome! Very responsive and very helpful. We just had a food tasting a few weeks ago. We weren't blown away, but it was good. We are going to go back for another tasting and we picked some other choices. So hopefully we like those better. They are very helpful. Also, you can pretty much decorate however you want. They've let us in the room several times to go play with decorations and see what works on the tables etc. They are flexible and helpful.

    I've been to a few events there and find the food to be nothing to write home about. Not particularly good, but not particularly bad. The room itself is very pretty. Parking can be difficult.

    Some of these reviews are a few years old I wanted to know if any one recently had a wedding at piedmont room, if so what did you think was it good for a bride on a tight budget? and some of your pros and cons?
