I'm happy, very happy with my pictures.  She did exactly what I wanted.  Not everyone has money to burn, honey buns.

I'm not getting married until 2012 and, again, I am not bashing you but your photos are very traditional and simple. All I am saying is that a talented photographer won't be that cheap. If you photographer was so great she would have color corrected your siggy picture so that your dress isn't blue. That goes to what I am saying. It's all about the details, honey buns.

Whatever.  You still haven't told us your photog, which leads me to believe you haven't even booked one.  Coupled with your lovely attitude and your insufficient posts, I'm done with this conversation.  You and Angel should go have some fun together.

So, your wedding isn't for over a year, your page on the Knot is secret, you only really post on photog posts, and you don't tell anything about your wedding except you booked Marc Anthony.

REALLY?  You think he's the best that's out there?!  Granted, he's decent, but there are several who are better than him, IMO.

Briar, she ment the white part of your dress, not the blue sash, either way everyone wants different things with pictures. Your photog was traditional and that's what you wanted and that's fantastic. To get a photojournalistic eye, you usually have to pay a lot more unless they are just starting out and are looking to build their portfolio, then you just get lucky and take a chance.

I looked into Erik Matey... for all day coverage, 2nd photographer and an 10x10 album it would be $4150.

We're using Amy Tucker as well. She's really awesome, and though she hasn't shot our wedding yet, everything of hers I've seen is incredible. She has some great packages, many including a second shooter and within that budget. Good luck!

We are going with April Ziegler (www.aprilziegler.com)  For $2,000 you get  8 hours of coverage + e-pics + e-pics on disc, two photographers + Digital images on DVD + rights to photos.  We are going to wait to order our album as it will help us to budget it next year than in our wedding budget since we're paying for it all ourselves.  We may get it from her or we may not.
