Names of the Couple? Stacy and Daniel

    Wedding Date? April 3, 2010

How old are you? Your FI? I'm 28 and he's 25 (robbin' the cradle!)

Occupations and dream occupations of the couple? We are both teachers.  I teach elementary music and he teaches high school band.  I am pretty positive he is doing exactly what he wants to do, but if I could have any job in the world, I'd love to work for the education department at the Atlanta Symphony, they get to put together programs for kids, it sounds like a blast!

How long have you been dating?  We were best friends for 6 years before we started dating, then we got engaged on our one year anniversary of our first date which is actually today, June 6th!!!

Where did the you meet? In college, we were both music education majors

What was your first impression of your FI? I didn't like him at all!  I thought he was full of himself and cared way too much about his looks, I remember telling my friends "Ah, I really don't like that guy!"  Showed me not to judge!

Most exciting thing about wedding planning so far?  Well, since I'm already married I won't count the wedding itself. I'd say the most exciting part was getting to spend so much time my mom and 2 best friends planning.  I got to see them way more than I normally would, and I finally got to have all my best girl friends in one place!

Any wedding-related challenges yet?  The only wedding issue we had was that I got crazy sick the night before the wedding and stayed sick throughout the whole wedding day.  Luckily, adrenalin can work wonders!

Have you gotten the dress yet? If so, pic please! If not, post some that you like!  Yes, and it was wonderful!

Any favorite vendors yet?  I loved my florist and my DJ!!  The florist made a small budget go a very long way and the DJ kept the dance fllor packed all night!!

Colors or theme? Royal purple, silver, and black

What are your top three wedding-related priorities? Mine were-make sure the dance floor stays packed, make sure the guests leaved stuffed, make sure everyone have fun!

Any children yet or furbabies? No kids, one furbaby named Maggie

Kids at wedding? Nope, no kids!  High school aged and older!
Where are you honeymooning? We went to Maui!!

Favorite book? Anything by Nicholas Sparks

Favorite movie? Gone With The Wind

    Favorite tv show? Grey Anatomy

Favorite wedding dress designer? Vera Wang

What is something you wish you could have at the wedding but don't?
We really wanted uplighting!  Ah, it really would have added to it!

Thanks ladies for taking the time to read!!!

It was great reading about you. We would love to go to Hawaii for our honeymoon, did you enjoy? Is it as expensive as everyone says it is?

Thanks for sharing. After six years of "just friends," what made you two decided to go on a date? Also, did you wear Vera for your wedding? I'm pretty sure that the most exciting thing about your planning will also be one of my most exciting things...I love that this gives us so much bonding time.

Your dream job sounds like it would be a total blast! How cool would it be to say that you could do that for a living!? And I wasn't to keen on my FI either when we first met. :)
    Great reading about you!

    Thanks ladies!

Trini, Hawaii was truly amazing!!!  I have never seen somewhere so beautiful but yes, EVERYTHING is expensive!  The cheppest meal we had was $30 and that was at a hole-in-the-wall Mexican place!

Eagles-No, I didn't wear a Vera gown, sadly :( I just couldn't justify the cost in our budget.  For you other question, about why did we decide to date after 6 year, great question! Him and I both were in very long relationship for the first 4/5 years and after we became friends, we could always feel that attraction, but didn't want to cheat or anything, so, just kept it inside.  Well, his relationship and mine both ended within a month of each other and about 2 months later I was in a wedding and needed a date and he asked if I would like hi to go with me-YES!!!! And after the wedding, we had such an amazing time, we went on a real date.  I will say, it took months though to get over what we called "the friendship hump."  It was weird dating someone that had been off limits for so long!
