Vendor Review - Facials and Other: Judith of Budapest

Hello,

This is long overdue, but here it goes ...

Our ceremony is about 5 weeks away. I have had acne in my cheek area since high school. I have also had random break-outs that left minor scarring. I started going to Judith's about 6 months ago. I initially went for a pedicure only (per the recommendation of a friend who went to Judith in preparation for her wedding) saying "I will try this out and see how it goes." My pedicure was amazing!!! The salon focuses on individualized care and only provides services to one person per service (Tara does pedis and manis and Judith does the facials and waxing) at a time. There was no wait and Tara is extremely professional (appointments only). You are seated on a mini pedestal and served a small bowl of fruit while you get your pedicure.

After my experience with the pedi, I decided to go back for a facial. Judith assesses your skin and provides the appropriate facial based on your skin type. I have seen my skin transform!!!! I am about 99% blotch free and you cannot tell that I ever had the break-out in my cheek area (I must add that I also went to see my dermatologist and got a 4% bleaching cream for spots). I have been on a 6-week rotation for Judith and am getting my next facial as soon as the weather clears and then again one week before the ceremony.

She is located in Buckhead and her prices are very reasonable. She also does waxing (hurts like hell but amazing results for those who have not done it before).  I highly recommend both Judith and Tara for those of you who are doing "count down to wedding" refining and having trouble finding a place to get this done - you will not be disappointed. Thanks, Giddy! I wish I'd found someone like Judith before now. I only have 5 weeks and a day and my skin is the worst it has ever been in my entire life! I know it's from the stress of work, home stuff, family stuff, and wedding planning, but it's neverending it seems. As soon as I got the right cheek under control, the left one has started to freak out. What I need right now is a couple injections from the dermatologist, but with all the ice between Alpharetta and West Paces, I'm afraid I won't make it anytime soon.

Would you suggest Judith for a one-time visit? I know it won't work miracles but...

She did a deep cleansing on my first visit and evan after that my skin appeared brighter (received several compliments). Each time it's gotten a little better. Just keep in mind that you'll want to do this 1-2 weeks before your ceremony. But yes, I think its worth it. If nothing else, it's extremely relaxing and I am sure you will want to return.

Sory about your skin :-( ~ good luck!

Thanks for the recommendation! I plan to start going for facials around May and I have been looking around for good salons
