Question about Photographer?

Has anyone heard of or used Rebecca Bunch of Photography by Rebecca? I would really appreciate a vendor review.

I already booked a photographer, but ran across this one at a fraction (literally like 1/4) the cost of my original photographer and I am reconsidering. Of course I would lose some of the services of the original, but my FI thinks that it would be worth it. I'm just scared to act without real references or reviews. Can anyone help here?

I wouldn't book without seeing her work or getting references.

I second jinx.  It might be ridiculously cheaper for a reason.

I've booked Rebecca for my wedding in July.  I had the same concerns you have especially since I found her online.  I requested references and felt pretty comfortable after that.  She has a webpage and a facebook page with pics and comments from past and future brides.

I'm happy with my choice so far and look forward to working with her. Hope  that helps!

I booked Rebecca for my September wedding, and like you, I was very skeptical of her prices.  After viewing her facebook and her website, FH and I scheduled a meeting with her and were very pleased with her work.  She does this as a professional hobby and seems very passionate about her craft.  She also has a great eye and convinced me that Brides don't need to pay thousands of dollars for quality work.  She was a pleasure and if nothing else, I would suggest meeting with her.

I was wondering if anyone had any additional reviews of Photography by Rebecca.  I been looking into booking her and noticed the 2 brides that posted recently had their weddings.  Any feedback you could give?

I used Rebecca Bunch for my Nov/2011 wedding and I was very disapointed! The photos were far from impresive and she did not get all the shots I wanted. The pictures came out very dark many of the good shots had red eye. The group shots had short people in the back fighting to be seen with tall people in front. She put us all in one position and took 15 shots and was done. There are no pictures of my mom walking down the isle from the front, or even of me except an upclose shot (not full lenth) There are too many complaints to mention. We discussed the photos to be taken ahead of time and she did not follow through. When I asked her to make good somehow on the situation she just said she was sorry I was not happy and offered no resolution. I dont think all photographers who dont charge much are bad and I have seen some great reviews for her but I was very disapointed. Nothing could bring back that day but I feel like she should have at least tried to make up for it.
