How old are you? Your FI? 32 and 41

Occupations and dream occupations of the couple? I'm a mental health counselor and he is a financial analyst.  Still trying to figure out our dream jobs.  :-)

How long have you been dating? About a year and a half

Where did the you meet? We were set up by a mutual friend

What was your first impression of your FI? Charming, warm, funny

Most exciting thing about wedding planning so far? Picking the venue was exciting.  We toured a few places and it was so great to pick one (Piedmont Room) and sign that contract.  It made it feel more "real!" 

Any wedding-related challenges yet? Probably narrowing down the guest list. 

Have you gotten the dress yet? If so, pic please! If not, post some that you like! I tried some on once, but haven't got one. I need to do a lot more searching!

Any favorite vendors yet? we really like our DOC, Erin Stroup

Colors or theme? I guess it is a "spring theme." Our colors are earthy greens and ivory with a little bit of black.

What are your top three wedding-related priorities? 1. Picking a photographer, 2. Music (but that task is being delegated to FI), and 3. My dress

Any children yet or furbabies? We have a lovable, 70 pound black lab mix, named Vegas.

Kids at wedding? Just our nieces and nephews- 9 total.

Where are you honeymooning? Still trying to figure this out.  Hawaii and Greece are at the top of our list, but Spain has recently moved on the list too.  FI is in charge of the honeymoon.

Favorite book? I Know This Much is True,;Those Who Save Us

Favorite movie? Grease, Dirty Dancing

Favorite tv show? These days it is Modern Family

Favorite wedding dress designer?  Not sure!!

What is something you wish you could have at the wedding but don't: Well, I really wanted a mariachi band and pinatas (our wedding is on Cinco de Mayo) but I couldn't convince my FI. :-)
