Help! Our Venue fell through!!

Hi Ladies! This is my first post, and I am writing out of somewhat deparaition!

We have been plannning to have our reception at a gallery in Atlanta. We live in NY and are planning the wedding from up there (I am from Atlanta). It has been a while since we have been to the gallery, but we knew we liked it so we paid a deposite. We came to Atlanta last weekend and saw how much the area has changed, and the "courtyard" ended up being a parking lot! We have limited time (Oct. 23) and a pretty limited budget.

Any Ideas for a girl with a budget, looking for a unique fun wedding reception venue? I would love somewhere with an outdoor space in the city,!

Have you looked into the trolley barn or the court house on decatur square?  I know both venues have reasonable rates and allow outside catering.  Good luck and I'm sorry that your original plans fell through!

I am so sorry to hear that. That is a very difficult situation, being that you had to look online instead of actually taking a visit to the facility. I am having an outdoor wedding, and have looked at literally about ten places. several places to check out are:
-The Atlanta Botanical Garden located in Downtown Atlanta( I think they were a little pricey)
-Piedmont Park located in Downtown Atlanta  (beautiful and was only charging me 3000 for the reception and ceremony).
-Bradford House and Gardens located in Buford, GA near Lake Lanier Islands
    -Vines Mansion in Loganville, GA
-Villa Serena located between Conyers and Loganville

Please check those places. They are really nice, take my word for it!
