Yes all u ladies from eastpoint, hapeville,college park,Riverdale please I really need ur help. I went 2 my first vendor meeting with Pristine Chapel and I'm stressed to the point of tears. We live in college pak. Is there any venues on the southside convenient to airport that won't kill our $8000 budget? Thanks in advance ladies

    Pinehurst Tea Room in Stockbridge is nice and all inclusive. It's about a 20-30 minute drive from the airport. Have you considered hotels? A lot of them have nice banquet facilities.

    Pinehurst is nice and they'll work with your budget.

    Also, check out the Shamrock Building at the Clayton County Water Authority. The room and surrounding area is really pretty and you can bring in your own catering and alcohol.

    If you want to go a littel further south to McDonough, the Hazelhurst House may be able to work with your budget (depending on howmany people you are looking at having and the day of the week/time you want to have your wedding).

    Pilgreens Steakhouse in McDonough has a private banquet/reception room upstairs and has a gazebo on the property if you want to have the ceremony there too.

    We're having our reception in Forest Park at Las Nubes. Their package is so wonderful and it's about $2,000 (packages can be customized). I was wondering about Pristine Chapel, almost went there before finding and settling on this place. Good luck.

    Oh, also if you go with a place that allows outside caterers, I recommend Affordable Events catering. They are located in McDonough. Their food is wonderful and their pricing is extremely reasonable. If our venue didn't require we use a particular carterer I would be using them for my wedding. I used to live down the street from the owner and can tell you everything she cooks is fantastic!

    YOu know, sometimes you can save money by going not all inclusive. Two big things you can really save money on in a venue only kind of place is catering and alcohol. Hope you find what you're looking for!

    Pristine Chapel is a very nice place and the staff is great. It's just that they say they are all inclusive @ ur budget but they really are not. All inclusive comes with a big price tag

    The morrow center is nice. I was going to book them as my venue but decided to go with the VIP complex at Clayton international park. The complex allows you to bring in an outside caterer without any additional charges. Ask to speak to Mrs. Ann Pittman she is very sweet and will help you with whatever you need.
