Where to go to dinner after afternoon wedding?

I'm getting married on March 12th in Duluth and we are staying at the Ritz downtown for our wedding night.  We have to leave the venue by around 4:15p.m., so we will have the evening to ourselves.  First, I can't decide whether I want to leave with my wedding dress on or put on a "going away" cocktail dress.  And second, I am trying to figure out a place for us to eat dinner that evening that would be special.  I wanted to book a reservation at Ruth's Chris or The Sun Dial, but I'm afraid those are going to be too expensive.  Any suggestions on both of the above?

What about Chops in Buckhead? They have really good food, and most people know about it.

The Sun Dial really brings back some memories. I went there one year for my birthday dinner with the fam. I was in awe as a little girl because it was in a giant bubble and the floor moved :)

If you're going to eat downtown, I recomment Nikolai's Roof over both Sundial and Ruth's Chris.  Ruth's Chris is a little chain-y for my taste, and I've always heard that the Sundial's food is not as good as the price is high.  We went to Nikolai's for our engagement, and it was awesome!  I also highly recommend Bones, OceanAire and Park Tavern.

Alternatively, the restaurant at the Ritz is also really good.  We have to leave our reception in Roswell at 4:00, will be staying at the Ritz and are planning to just eat there for simplicity.

You may also want to check out ScoutMob for some less expensive, but off the beaten path ideas.  That's our go-to for new restaurants.
