are you looking for a reasonably-priced dress?

Just thought I'd share my bridal salon reviews for those of you still searching for a dress:

Sweet Elegance Bridal - had beautiful gowns, a good selection, & the best customer service. The saleswoman didn't try to push me to buy and she let me try on a bunch of dresses. However, they don't let you take pics of the gowns or know the designers. Almost all dresses lower than $2000. http://www.sweetelegancebridal.com/

Alfred Angelo & David's Bridal & Brides by Demetrios - were ok. Nothing to write home about. Good if you want a decent dress lower than $1200. I love the Vera Wang dresses at David's. I found one unique dress at Demetrios. No complaints about these places, but nothing to rave about.

Azalea Bridal I liked because it was very laid back. Hardly anyone in there, but the lady there is so nice and helpful. Great place for simple gowns, and plus size gowns. Great prices under $1000. http://www.azaleabridal.com/

I went to Kelly's Closet because everyone said it's THE place to get unique gowns. Sure, the gowns were unique, but not pretty at all and most were like overpriced prom gowns. The lady kept emphasizing the designers' names as if I were supposed to be ashamed that I didn't like this gown by such-and-such. Sorry, $8k for something I can get at Banana Republic is not my idea of high fashion. http://kellyscloset.net/

I ended up buying my dress at Carrie's in Chamblee because they had an amazing $99 sample sale and I found a grand mermaid 2-in-1 dress. Her regularly priced dresses are $500-$1000. She also had a good selection of plus-sized dresses.  https://www.facebook.com/carriesbridalcollection
