Wedding Venue Help

Ok ladies I'm in the beginning phases of planning and I'm searching for a venue in the Atlanta area. I have set a budget finally of 15,000. I really don't want to spend that much because FI and I are paying for the wedding ourselves. Are there any reasonable venues out there?

Budget doesn't include my wedding dress

    Your budget should be what you are comfortable spending. If you dont' want to spend $15k then your budget should be lower. 

    What is the feel you're going for at the wedding? Do you want an urban loft style reception or a country chic outdoor reception or something else?

    I have to recommend my venue-The Bradford House and Gardens.  It is absolutely beautiful, but the main thing that made me choose that location was the owner, Debbie.  She is absolutely wonderful.  My FI and I are also paying for the wedding ourselves and there are a couple different packages to choose from to fit your budget.  Also, the biggest plus to me is that you have exclusive rights to the pictures and you don't have to buy them to have one.  I can't wait for my wedding.  Good luck where ever you decide.

    The Pavillion at East Cobb is nice and has some wonderful wedding Packages. Also check out The Gala.  These venues are nice for guest counts around 100-150 and their packages range around $5000 -$6000 (catering and most decor included).

    You might also want to check out Cavender Castle in Dahlonega.   About 45 north of Atlanta, you should find your dollar goes further there.  Here is the website: http:www.cavendercastle.com      Hope everything is perfect for you!

    Check out the Hyatt Regency Suites Atlanta NW hotel in Marietta, GA. They have just completed a $10 million renovation and the facility is absolutely gorgeous. check out their web site:
