Villa Serena - Conyers

I have been reviewing the sites listed on this board, but came a site on another website and wanted to see if any of you knotties have heard, used or visited Villa Serena in Conyers.  I live in the Conyers area and was trying to find a ceremony & reception venue in that area.  I am trying to host between 100-120 guests with an overall budget of about $12K (excluding dress and rings).

I just looked there the other day. I am planning my wedding for next august, and was told a Saturday wedding would cost $6500 to rent. (you would also have to pay extra to rent the glasses, silverwear and plates). Ceremony and reception would have to be outside. You can save money by brining in your own caterer and alcohol. I dont know much more about them, but it wouldnt hurt to take a tour. It is a beautiful venue!
    Good luck! (:

Thanks for the info Roxie2012.  Outdoors may be an issue for me since I am looking at May/June and the heat then will be too much.  I will definitely still go over and take a tour of the facility.

It is a little tricky, and you must have an appointment to get in.  It is really well hidden, and not visible from the street.

    Coming from Conyers -
    (1) Take 138 past the race track and look for White Road on your left (About 1mile or so, and there is a Farm sign there).
    (2) Follow White Road to W Hightower Trail and make a Right (Comes after Black Road)
    (3) Follow W HighTower to E Higtower and make a Right  (it is a dirt road)
    (4) The Driveway for the Villa is about 3/10s of mile on your left.  (There is usually on chain across the driveway or it will be to the side if someone is on the property).
