I was a fixture on this site a year ago, and am very grateful to have been a part of this virtual community. It was a great help!
Well, a year ago TODAY, I was married (yay!). After the wedding, someone entrusted with my top tier thought it was just extra cake and ate it. So, we had to call my baker for a replacement to celebrate with.
Elaine from
Sweet Stuff Cakes was just as wonderful as she was last year. She remembered us and happened to have some of the same decoration that we used on our original wedding cake. She made an exact replica of our top tier! We cheated a bit and shared the cake with our family yesterday, but didn't eat any ourselves. They gave the cake rave reviews (again).
It's nice to have someone that starts off as a wedding vendor that turns into much more than that. Elaine will be my baker from now on!
