Savannah Wedding, please help!

Hi I tried posting on the Savannah board but no responses!- Im thinking about a destination wedding n Savannah, we live in Atlanta- Id like a small ceremony ( less than 50) outside -a courtyard or park area/garden- and walking distance to a dinner reception, hopefully with patio or terrace..under $5000- any ideas? suggestions?

    You can have your ceremony in one of the squares. Click here to see a post on TK about it. This link might also be helpful. I would hire a wedding planner in that area to help you. It's hard to plan a wedding from afar. :)

    Yeah the Savannah board is sort of dead. Check on the city's website for wedding information. One girl I know got married at some marina with an outside area, but I think they had it catered. 

    Just as a heads up, which you probably know, Savannah weddings can be expensive since it's a very popular and beautiful place, so a WP who knows the ends and outs better than you do and can hopefully get you good deals may be a good investment.
