Any florist recommendations?

We are back in the market for a florist.  Our original was THREE times the cost we wanted and was almost as much as the catering for our 180-200 guests.  Um, no.

She was actually my consultant at the bridal shop I went to...she's just starting out as a florist so her prices are AMAZING!

Design house in lawrenceville.  She answered me promptly.. made a professional quote in a timely manner, the sit down with her was amazing and she has very reasonable prices.  She was less then half of what some other places quoted me after waiting forever for them to even respond.

My florist is Sid Flowers of Flowers from Us in Alpharetta. He's great to work with, especially if you have a budget. Great work for the money and I interviewed Five florists before contracting with him. Good Luck!

I think I need to work on my florist now, also.  Thanks, ladies, for the recommendations. I know this can vary a lot, but any ideas of what I should expect to pay for flowers?  I basically need flowers for me, flowers for my 5 bridesmaids, boutineers for the groomsmen....I just don't have ANY idea what to expect to pay??

I've seen flowers in the following ranges:

$85 on up for bridal bouquet (depends on how large, flowers used, that kind of thing)
$50 on up for bridal party
$8 - $20 for bouts

I've seen centerpieces from $65 for the smaller centerpices on up.  Larger ones I've seen starting from around $80 on up.

A lot of it depends on what flowers you want, whether they're in season, whether they're local, etc.

We used "Edge Design" and ended up paying around 2500, but we could have done it for much less. Maxine will literally do whatever you want.
