Eyelashes extension

I am thinking about getting eyelashes extensions for my wedding, but they are really expensive. I don't mind spending the money if they are totally worth it, but if I can get a good look with the fake ones than I will save the money. Does anybody knows if the extensions are worth it? Have anyone used fake ones and liked it? Did it last the whole ceremony and reception? If you have done the extensions, which brand did you use?

Re: Eyelashes extension

  • Define expensive. Urban Decay makeup counter in the anchor stores at the mall does lash strips and they are no more then 20. I wore those at a wedding all day and after crying and sweating I still had to pull them off. Individual lash application can run anywhere from 2550 and most nail salons do them. I wouldn't worry about getting anything more than that if you don't plan to wear them long term. I had permanent ones that only last 6 months so why they are called permanent I'll never know and I spent about 75 on those.

  • I wear lashes, as well.  However, I wear the individuals.  You put them on one by one, and they fall out with your natural lash cycle.  I can normally go about a month before I need to go back.  The cost for a full set is $200 and fill ins very, based on how long it has been since your touch up.

I like the xtreme lashes (individuals) better, than the "strip" and those nail salon "individuals".  They are true individuals and no one can tell you have them on.  You just look as if you have the prettiest eyelashes in the world.

The lashes are customized to the look you want, within reason.  For example, they will tell you if the thickness and length you won't will be too heavy for your eyelashes, which would cause them to either fall off prematurely or to damage your eyes.  The entire process is extremely relaxing (as far as where I go) and I normally end up falling asleep.

I am 100% sure you would be please.  You will need to make an appointment in advance though, because they are very popular.
