Venues for a great price

I recently got engaged and am overwhelmed on try to pick a venue. I would love an outdoor wedding with a tent as well. Anyone have any ideas for a place in ATL north of the city? I am from Marietta and my fiancé is from Cumming.

    What is your budget like, and how many guests?  The Mansell House in Alpharetta is pretty.  I think it can hold max 150 people outside.  It's something like $1000 to rent the venue and then you bring in all your own vendors. 

    There's also a super cute barn in Cumming called the Reid barn, it's kind of expensive though IMO. 

    Gardens at Kennessaw are gorgeous but again more expensive.

    Pristine Chapel is a great facility that does indoor and outdoor weddings. They offer all services you need, and will do a payment plan!

    We are getting married at the Peach Brandy Cottage in Dawsonville. There is a gazebo next to a lake as well as a ballroom with hardwood floors, so you really don't need a tent. You can rent the venue or have them cater. They have a website and are on facebook.
