Affairs to Remember pricing?

Does anyone have any ideas about what pricing is like with them? Looking for experience feedback if anyone knows.

I wonder if Prince William and Kate are registered at Target?

I am using them for my wedding in August and it all really depends on the number of people since catering companies have fixed costs which are the same regardless of the number of guests.  The more guests, the lower Price Per Person. but with fewer guests the price per person is higher (from my experience) and you also have to be upfront about your budget so they know what they are working with.  I am working with Chris McKinstry and he is great. I told him my budget and he was able to recommend food within my budget. The great thing about Affairs, all of the linens and china is included!

We just got married 2 weeks ago and Affairs to Remember did our catering.  They are slightly more expensive than Proof of the Pudding and Carole Parks (if you have looked at them).  It all depends on the type of food you want, but we really felt like the presentation was worth the money.  Plus, unlike others, they own their own linens (and they are nice) and gave me votives on all the tables & decorating around the venue with my catering package.  They also coordinated the cake for me so I didn't have to deal with another vendor (and the cake was awesome...they had me go thru Classic Cheesecakes & Cakes in Buckhead).  They also did ceremony chairs for my outdoor garden wedding.  So, the "whole package" type deal with them made it easier for me.

Also, we negotiated with them some.  We gave them what we want to pay and told them we'd sign right away if they could do that price....and they did.  It was about 8% lower than what they had quoted us.

The only thing that frustrated me at the time was that they just give you a number for their price and you don't know how they are getting it.  They are less transparent in how it is calculated.  But on the other hand, Proof of the Pudding itemized it and it felt like I was being nickle & dimed....charging for every plate & set of silverware.

Overall, the service from Affairs to Remember was great and we had SO many compliments on how great the food was at our wedding. I'd recommend them.

We are using them! It's not inexpensive, but it's a little cheaper than Sun in My Belly, Talk of the Town, and Bold American, and it's all inclusive. So I'm happy. They have a great choice of linens and decorations for the buffet tables. They also provide the cake cutting utensils. The food is awesome! I am hungry just thinking about it.
